2. Service Overview
RiverStoneCanvas specializes in luxurious yacht charter experiences, which include but are not limited to:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Multi-day charters
Our offerings are subject to change depending on availability and weather patterns. We reserve the flexibility to adjust or cease our services without prior notice.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To reserve a charter, the following is required:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Submission of accurate and comprehensive details
- Advance deposit as outlined in your booking confirmation
- Acknowledgment of these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
Reservation is only assured upon the successful receipt of payment and our written acknowledgment. We hold the discretion to decline service to anyone.
3.3 Availability
Charter services are subject to the ability of vessel availability and favorable weather conditions. We will strive to honor your requested reservation dates and timings as far as practicable.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All listed charges are in € and incorporate any applicable taxes unless specified otherwise. Fees are subject to adjustments without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of the total cost of the charter required at the time of reservation
- Remaining Amount: Due 48 hours before the charter departs
- Incidental expenses (if any): Due at the end of the charter
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept an array of payment methods including major credit cards, wire transfers, and certified bank drafts. All payments are processed using secure, encrypted channels.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 72 hours before departure: Full refund less transaction fees
- 24-72 hours before departure: Refunded at 50% of the total cost
- Less than 24 hours prior to departure: No refund available
5.2 Weather Cancellations
Should the weather be deemed unsafe for sailing by our captain, we will offer the following options:
- Reschedule your charter to an alternative available date with no extra cost
- Issue a complete refund if rescheduling proves unfeasible
5.3 Mechanical Issues
In the instance of mechanical faults with the designated vessel, we will endeavor to provide a comparable replacement. Where substitution is not feasible, we will issue a total refund.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All guests are obligated to:
- Heed all instructions from the crew
- Utilize safety gear when instructed
- Disclose any health conditions impacting their safety
- Stay within the approved areas of the yacht
6.2 Prohibited Items
The following items cannot be brought on board:
- Glass vessels
- Illicit materials
- Weapons or firearms
- Excessive quantities of beverages (beyond permitted consumption)
- Pets (with the exception of pre-approved cases)
6.3 Conduct
Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. We retain the right to conclude a charter prematurely, with no refund provided, if passengers' conduct results in a safety hazard or interferes with other passengers' experience.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our liability in terms of your charter is restricted to the amount paid. We are not accountable for:
- Personal injuries as a consequence of passenger recklessness
- Loss or impairment to personal belongings
- Indirect or consequent damages, including punitive losses
- Delays stemming from meteorological conditions or events beyond our authority
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We maintain comprehensive insurance for our fleet and operations. It is the passenger's duty to secure their own travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
By choosing to participate in our charter offerings, you recognize the innate risks involved in maritime activities and agree to personally assume responsibility for your safety and well-being.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
We maintain the right to adapt itineraries, routes, or timetables depending on meteorological conditions, safety requirements, or operational necessities. We will exert effort to propose similar alternative arrangements when possible.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be deemed accountable for deferrals, cancellations, or alterations engendered by situations outside our control, inclusive of but not constrained to:
- Severe meteorological events
- Natural calamities
- Mandates or regulations by the government
- Port closures
- Mechanical impairments
10. Privacy and Data Protection
